Vive le Vin
The earliest archeological evidence of wine production in France has been found in the south and has been dated back to 425 BCE. By the time the Romans got to France two centuries later, people were already growing grapes. When the Romans left seven centuries later, you know that they left with winemaking in full swing.
France’s wine culture and history is deep and storied and one of things most identified with France.
This week, we pour a selection of French wine at another of our famous free, walk-up wine tastings. Please join us any time within the hour and half.
