Kickoff VA Wine Month!

October is Virginia Wine Month! What better way to start it off is there than with one of our free, walk-up, Wine Wednesday tastings?

Going from just a handful of wineries in the 1970s, the state now has over 300 and is the tenth top wine producing state in the U.S. Just recently The Wall Street Journal just had an article advising people to explore the wineries of Northern Virginia!

Virginia is an exciting wine state, because we’re still forming our identity as such. Today’s VA vintners are displaying a flare for experimentation as they expand the types of grapes that can find expression in Virginia’s wine regions.

Guest pourer LeeAnn Jones from distributor Williams Corner Wine will be here pouring some of our favorite Commonwealth producers. If you’re a fan of VA wine or do not know yet whether you should be, this is the perfect tasting for you!
