From Salina, with Love

Decades ago, in the 1970s, Pietro Colosi and Carlo Hauner were grape growers, winemakers, and friends. As time went on, Colosi took on managing both their properties. His son, Pietro took over from him, and his son, Pietro, now runs the winery based on the Salina Islands in the Aeolian Archipelago, north of Sicily. There, terraced vineyards grow in dry, volcanic soil.
